If you’re as much of a game nerd as I am, you probably know about the infamous Contra code which would give you 30 lives; Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A.
This code is now referred to as the Konami code, Konami being the company who created the game, and as it turns out, there are tons of sites out there paying tribute to this part of video game history.
Sites such as Digg, Google Reader and Facebook all have easter eggs hidden on their sites that can be accessed by entering this code.
If you want the most complete list of sites you can use the Konami code on, check out KonamiCodeSites.com, which you’ll also need to know the code if you want to get in.
Contra was super tough wasn’t it? Whew! I remember being a kid and playing that game over and over.
