Searching For In-Stock Items at Your Own Local Stores

Although you can usually get stuff for much cheaper online if you do some price comparison shopping as compared to going to the local Best Buy, sometimes I just don’t like waiting for it to come in the mail.

Maybe that’s why I’m so broke…

Anyway, Milo is a cool new product search website that will search all of the local stores near you for in-stock items.

This is really handy if you’re searching for something that you’re not sure is carried by a specific store.

I have a perfect example of when I could’ve used this too. My little sisters birthday was last month and we wanted to get her this little fashion suitcase that we knew Target carried, but when I went to the Target nearest me, they didn’t have it. After that, I went to a bunch of different places with no luck.

We got her a skateboard instead…

That actually turned out to be a good thing though, because she wanted one really, really bad.

OK, back to Milo. Use it.

HEMA website

Shopping online is a relatively routine experience for most of us whether it’s for clothing, accessories, text books, or secret obsessions; click objects, add to cart, confirm ordering information, confirm billing information, 3-5 days later, presto! But where’s the fun in that?

Well, the good people over at HEMA, a Dutch-based company, has transformed the monotonous experience of online shopping into a quite exhilarating one. Check out their homepage of random objects available for purchase as the items lend a hand into their very own demise. Enjoy!
