Did you break up with your girlfriend recently? The iPhone has several apps to help you through this horrible process.
You can track every step your ex takes and where she’ll be at all times, automatically call her in the middle of the night, find a lawyer for your stalking case and find a new girlfriend with matching facial features.
Watch the videos below and you’ll see that just about any kind of game gets made these days. I suppose the forklift simulator can be used for training purposes though. I think I’d fall asleep playing that “game.”
The second game video below is called “Ultimate Muscle Roller Legend” and I just don’t know what to say about it. Watch and see how the “motorcycle” gets a speed burst. Someone slipped in some weird frames in between 16 and 17 seconds too. Ha ha! There isn’t any real nudity here, but may be innapropriate for work.
Jason wears a different shirt every single day of the year, but the coolest thing about it is that he’ll wear any shirt you want him to wear.
He started the website IWearYourShirt.com with the idea of outsourcing his wardrobe to corporate America. He will wear your company shirt for one day of the year, take a picture and then blog about it.
The pricing structure is really interesting. Days of the year are sold at the price of whatever number of day it is out of the 365 days in a year. So January 1st is only a buck, while December 31st will cost you $365. Not too bad for some creative publicity.
2009 in currently sold out, but he is taking reservations for the 2010 year. Get in while it’s the cheapest!
Do you remember the Rick Astley vs. Nirvana video that was posted all over the internet a few weeks ago? Well here’s another mashup, this time featuring the music of Nine Inch Nails, “The Hand That Feeds.”
I don’t think this is as good as the Nirvana one, but I still think it’s pretty good. Someone should just invent a Rick Astley service where you can upload any song you want and Rick Astley lyrics will play over it.
Groupon is a really cool site. Every morning they feature some kind of cool product or service that you can use in your local area. They support quite a few cities so far too, so you should take a look to see if yours is listed.
So what you have to do to get these really good discounts, is to join in on the group buy. For example, today’s Groupon here in Denver is for a $50 coupon to a hair salon and you pay $25 for it.
But the only way to get this deal is if enough people also join in on the deal. At this time, 6 people have purchased the deal and 14 more need to buy within 2 days and 15 hours.
I’m a sucker for deals like this, especially when it involves my local businesses.
I’ve subscribed to their RSS feed, so that I can see what the deal is every morning when it’s updated, but you can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter to get updates or subscribe to their email list.
CollegeHumor has made another great video, parodying the classic movie, and one of my personal childhood favorites, Beetlejuice.
Watch as Tweetlejuice introduces himself to the Deetz family and explains what he does for an “after-living”. And his qualifications are amazing, graduating with a degree in computer science from MIT and even having worked for Google as a senior developer for 4 years!
So if you have someone on your friends list that you need to take care of, just call Tweetlejuice’s name three times in your Twitter stream.
Drilling Ahead is a social networking site created specifically with Oil and Gas workers in mind. Professionals in this industry can learn about everything related to gas & oil and even talk to each other and communicate amongst themselves.
They have a jobs section too, where workers can search for new work opportunities, so that seems handy. And if you need to stock up on supplies such as work gloves and safety glasses, they have a store section too.
I think it’s great that everybody gets a social networking site these days, but I really wonder if Drilling Ahead has made a wise business choice. Is there really a want/need for this service? I really have no idea, but I guess these guys would know better than me.
Check out these amazing cakes. I got all these images in an email and then went out to the internet look for more. Apparently, all of these cakes come from a company named Zhanna in St. Petersburg, Russia, but I can’t find a website or an actual address anywhere. I’m sure I’d be able to find it if I spoke Russian, but no luck there.
According to everything I’ve read about these cakes, every single part of them can be eaten. There aren’t any plastics or artificial materials placed on these delectable works of art. They look so delicious, I wish I could order one.
